I am looking to send a man in prison a Bible and wonder if there is a good study bible for men in prison I can get at barns and noble or a place like that?Whats the best Bible for a prisoner?
not sure about a specific version, but Barnes and Noble has a selection of Bibles from ones with covers to bare-bones mini Bibles. The study Bibles there all looked really good last time I was there looking at them.
Reality and taking responsibility for their own actions, not Bible BS about doing whatever and then asking for forgiveness. The prisons are full of Christians so obviously it isn't working for them. Atheists on the other hand are almost nonexistent in prisons. A rational mind thinks about the consequences for their actions.Whats the best Bible for a prisoner?
True %26amp; Tested King James (not new king james, king james 2000, king james jr or any other cute name they come out with). Preferable a red letter edition with NO cometary, No notes or anything like that. Just the Word of God. It will do its work in his heart. No need additions by man. Just trust God's word is sufficient
" For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12Whats the best Bible for a prisoner?
A good study Bible... I prefer the Ryrie.... it comes in different versions....... I would say get the New American Standard if they know nothing of the language of the Bible...... I prefer the King James........... also perhaps you could get the English Standard version......... go to a good Bible store....... they can advise you on other study guides as well...... but a good study Bible is a must..... it will have lots of extras and maps..... all in one book.... I do prefer the Ryrie study Bibles.....
so not just give someone a plain Bible with out study guides.....unless you know they already have a good understanding of The Bible
The Bible According to Einstein.
$$ contributed to his prison account to use for buying a Bible from the prison store.
You will not likely be allowed to just send in a Bible.
A hollowed out bible with a file hidden inside.
Send him something that can actually help him
Prisoners don't need more toilet paper
A Bible in ashes.
One with a metal file in it.
Why? Isn't he being punished enough?
Oh yeah, fill a prisoner's mind up with Christian nonsense. Is that what's best for them?
get him a Nice Leather bound KJV Study Bible... Im sure he will treasure it
