If you call ahead, will barns and noble hold a book for you? is there a time limit?

Yes! How handy, right? It can depend on your local stor how long they're willing to hold it for! Mine holds it for about 5 days, and if they don't have it at the store, they can send for it and call you when it gets there! Good Luck! :)
