Does it cost money to create an account on the B and N ( barns and noble) website?

No, its free, I have an account for a while now. But it does cost money to get a member's card which you can renew for about $25.00 (I believe now you renew it yearly instead of monthly) but with the members card you can get a discount on a lot of different stuff, along with free shipping. But for just an online account, it cost nothing.
