It doesn't have to be alot but are there any job openings for anything?|||Go to the store you would like to work at and ask to speak to the manager. If it is a busy time, ask when would be a good time for you to come back. You should be dressed professionally when you speak to the manager, because this will be the first impression that you make. Even if you do not get a job, it will be a good experience applying for a job. This is a good time, because most college students who might have worked over the summer are back at school. You might also try again in late October/early November before the holidays.|||I work at a B%26amp;N and we hire 16+, although we would rather hire college age since it make schedules a little easier. As far as VaTreasures' comment goes just becuase B%26amp;N sells playboy and penthouse doesn't mean you have to be 18 to sell it nor do you have to be 18 to buy it.

|||18 because they sell magazines including "adult" magazines. they require you be the legal age of whatever you are in charge of to work there. ie: 21 to work at a bar.|||I think you only have to be 16. Other good jobs for 16 year olds are box people at the grocery store, checker at Wal Mart or Target, or most any retail store like Party City, Ross, Michaels, Penneys, Sears, game stop, Bed Bath and Beyond, Toys R Us, Hallmark Stores, Fast food workers, Bus people at a restaurant.
