Can you read books from barns & noble on kindle?

Can you download and read books from Barnes %26amp; Noble on a Kindle?

Can you be anywhere even if there is not an internet connection near by to purchase and download a book on Kindle?|||Most for-purchase books are protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management) systems that are particular to the ereader, so, no, you can't count on being able to buy B%26amp;N ebooks for your Kindle, or Amazon ebooks for your Nook. There are lots of places, however, which offer free ebooks that will work on most ereaders. Sometimes it's a single format that most support (EPUB, TXT, PDF, etc); sometimes multiple ebook formats are listed per book.

Kindles come with a USB cable that can be used to transfer books from a PC/Mac if you're not near a wireless connection.|||No, kindle software won't let you buy books from B%26amp;N. That would defeat the purpose of them selling you a kindle.

A 3G kindle can download books without wifi, but you need 3G coverage.
